Bell Tota
Bell totas are festive and versatile decorative items made from recycled fabric. The totas are made in the effigy of chicks and are adorned with brass bells, glass beads and sequins. They are about 5 feet long and can be hung individually at a window, on a wall or in groups in a doorway to act as a room divider. When you part the totas they make a restful tinkling sound. Hung as a single decoration or across a doorway as a room divider they are candy for the eye and add a touch of bohemian flair to your space. This is a fair trade item that helps employ women in India. Each strand is strung with beads and dispersed with stuffed and sequined chicks. There are about 25 chicks to a strand. The top has a fancy tassel and string and the bottom is adorned with a brass bell. All materials are handmade. This item is labor intensive and takes more than 2 days to complete.
